| प्रभु श्री रामचन्द्र का जीवन,उनका व्यक्तित्व और उनकी शिक्षाएं पूरी मानवता के लिए मार्गदर्शक का काम करती हैं। प्रभु राम के जीवन-चरित को लेकर अब तक जो रामायणें लिखी गयी हैं, वे इस बात का प्रमाण हैं कि रामकथा सर्वव्यापी और देशकालाततीत है और उसका सन्देश सार्वभौम है। भारत में और विश्व के अन्य देशों में भी समय-समय पर कई भाषाओं में रामायणें लिखी गयी हैं। कश्मीरी भाषा में रचित रामायणों की संख्या लगभग सात है। इनमें से सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय ‘‘रामवतारचरित“ है जिसका रचनाकाल 1847 ई० के आसपास माना जाता है। इस बहुमूल्य रामायण के प्रणेता कुर्यग्राम/कश्मीर निवासी प्रकाशराम हैं। प्रकाशराम के 'रामावतार-चरित` के मूलाधार वाल्मीकि कृत रामायण तथा 'अध्यात्म रामायण’ हैं। संपूर्ण कथानक सात काण्डों में विभक्त है। 'लवकुश-चरित` को अन्त में जोड़ दिया गया है। कश्मीरी पंडितों के कश्मीर(कश्यप-भूमि) से विस्थापन ने इस समुदाय की बहुमूल्य साहित्यिक-सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को जो क्षति पहुंचायी है, वह सर्वविदित है। कश्मीरी रामायण ‘रामवतारचरित’ का यह पेपरबैक-संस्करण इस संपदा को अक्षुण्ण रखने का एक विनम्र प्रयास है। ज्ञानमुद्रा प्रकाशन, भोपाल को बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद जो उसने इस पुण्य-कार्य को प्रकाशित करने का सहर्ष दायित्व लिया।कहना न होगा कि इस बहुमूल्य रामायण की विद्वतापूर्ण 'प्रस्तावना' परम विद्वान् डाo कर्णसिंह जी ने लिखी है और "शुभ-कामना सन्देश" भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद के पूर्व महानिदेशक और वर्तमान में आयर लैंड में भारत के राजदूत माननीय अखिलेश मिश्र ने लिखकर भेजा है।सुधी पाठकों और रामायण-प्रेमियों के लिए यह अनुपम ग्रंथ अमेज़न, फ्लिपकार्ट आदि से उपलब्ध होगा। |

For an author-educator, there is no greater joy than receiving his long-awaited and eagerly anticipated books by post, especially during a time when the festive season fills the air. Despite the challenges in the publishing industry, I am delighted to hold my two cherished works in my hands.
The first, "Kashmiri Ramayana: 'Ramavatarcharit'," is published by Gyanmudra Prakashan in Bhopal, and the second, "Kashmiri Ki Classic Kahaniyan," is published by Prabhat Prakashan in Delhi. Both books are available on major online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.
